So to introduce myself, I'm data-obsessed statistical analysis currently working in the gaming industry specialising in User Acquisition strategy and product development, primarily coding in SAS and SQL along with JS, HTML and R. I started off my career as a qualified jeweller ( yep you didn't expect that one ;) ) and have worked my way through Credit Risk and Strategical Management within a major bank.
My coding skills are almost entirely self-taught by using the tools out there as well as constant upskilling, trying the next "big things" and throwing myself into the deep end of statistics.
I am passionate about making data and programming more accessible and friendly to people who want to learn more but are scared by the terms and the mystery of data programming. As well as making the results of analysis easier to understand - try saying to a meeting full of artists and directors - the statistical significance is x and you will certainly see a lot of very blank glassy eyed stares thinking you have finally lost your marbles.
